San Clemente Oceanfront Condo Guide

San Clemente oceanfront condos are what a lot of people dream of when looking for a home by the beach.  Capturing the nightly sunsets with the cool ocean breezes is what a true oceanfront condo will bring you.  If you are looking for a condo with ocean front views we recommend the following places.  

First, the best place to look for an oceanfront condo is around the San Clemente Pier.  There are dozens of condos that face the ocean in this area and is a great place to start.  Condo buildings like Reefgate West, Villa Granada, Villa Grande and Sunset Shores are all around the pier area.  One the south side of the pier their is a building called "Driftwood Bluffs" where condos rarely come on the market for sale.  If you are lucky to see one of these condos come up then you will have spectacular coastline views looking south.

Another great place to look is on the Montalvo and Lobiero loop.  These streets are home to some spectacular views as pictured below.  Some condos at the point have views looking both south and north and arguably the best oceanfront views to be found in San Clemente.  Further north there is an oceanfront street called "Buena Vista."  Dozens of oceanfront condos, homes and multi-units line this street and have cliff front ocean views.  You are noticeably high up on the cliff so the views can be pretty dramatic looking down.

Plan to budget around $800,000 and up for a 2 to 3 bedroom oceanfront condo in San Clemente.  Of course, the price goes dramatically up depending on the size and location of the condo.  The inventory of condos in the last 6 months has been drastically reduced so keep a close eye on new listings that come up.  For additional questions about these great view condos make sure to contact us today.
