The Mariners Point community is a hidden gem when looking for large scale homes that offer views of the Pacific Ocean. Located at the top of the ridge in the Southeast section of San Clemente is a premier neighborhood that offers wonderful views. Since the 5 freeway runs through the middle of San Clemente it's very hard to find an ocean view home that doesn't have some kind of freeway noise. The Mariner's Point community seems to be the exception to this rule with wonderful ocean and coastline views looking down towards San Diego with the street "Avenida Salvador" which acts as a sound buffer.
The homes in this area are typically two story and built in the Traditional, Spanish, Tudor and Mediterranean architectural styles. Real Estate prices are normally well above the $1.2 million dollar price point with grand ocean view estates selling as high as $1.5 million dollars. Depending on the location that home is facing Catalina Island can also be seen as well. Currently there are two homes for sale that range from $1,298,000 to $1,495,000.
