The Best Ocean Front Streets in San Clemente

San Clemente is well known for having some amazing ocean front homes but which location is considered the best?  When buying a home in San Clemente we like to break the down the city into the different areas.  A quick drive through these areas is probably the quickest way to decide where you would like to like.  When is comes to living on the ocean front and want a single family home there is no better area than the Southwest San Clemente neighborhood.  In this area is a street called "Calle De Los Alamos" is where you will find some stunning ocean front properties that overlook the beach.  

This is not the only street in the SW San Clemente community that offers ocean front views so make sure to also consider streets like Paseo De Cristobal, Boca Del Canon, La Rambla and Plaza A La Playa in the Riviera district.  Beyond these streets on the very southern end of town is an ocean front gated community of Cyprus Cove, Cyprus Shore and Cotton Point Estates.  This is where you will find the most expensive ocean front properties with very limited inventory at any given time.  The great thing about living here is that you will receive a 24 hour guard gated entrance, direct access to the beach and community pool and clubhouse.

For those looking for a residential condo then we always recommend the ocean front street of Buena Vista in addition to the Southwest San Clemente area.  This location can be found north of the San Clemente Pier and can equally have stunning ocean views.  There tends to be a larger percentage of residential condos in this area so it's a great place to look if you are new to San Clemente.  The neighborhood is a complete different in this area since there is a good mixture of single family homes, condos and multi-unit properties.  Southwest San Clemente will give you a more traditional single family home neighborhood and tends to be a little more upscale.  We will be happy to explain of this to you on the phone so please give us a call at 949-204-5110 to connect with one of our San Clemente Real Estate experts!
