Living in San Clemente can be very expensive, especially the looking for a traditional single family home. There is a very nice senior community called Shorecliffs Terrace that is located adjacent to the Shorecliff's Golf Course and just minutes to the beach. What's more, home prices are often found under the $500,000 price point. Select homes in this neighborhood will also offer nice golf course and ocean views too.
What is it like to live in Shorecliffs Terrace? First, you need to be 55 years of age or older to live in this community. The spouse also needs to be at least 45 years of age or older so keep that in mind when looking here. Pets are also allowed in this park with certain restrictions so check with your local Realtor on those exact rules.
Some of the amenities found in this community include a nice neighborhood clubhouse, salt water pool, spa, sauna and a dedicated fitness room. There is even dedicated RV parking based on spa available. Expect to find monthly dues right around $235 a month which includes all of the amenities listed above including trash as well.
What makes this community unique from other mobile home parks? For starters, you own the land underneath the manufactured home. This is a big deal since there are a lot of manufactured home parks that charge you a hefty space rent fee that can be well over $1,000 a month. This truly is the most affordable way to live without have any extra rental fee's. There are many full time residents who live here as well as those who use it as a vacation residence.
