One of my favorite places to find ocean view condos is definitely the Ocean Hills complex. When I first started selling real estate in San Clemente I was mesmerized but the incredible views that can be found in this community. By far, the best view to be found in San Clemente is at the top of the hill on "Calle Pluma" street. From this location you have panoramic views of the ocean as well as a clear view of the Dana Point Harbor and beyond.
The condos in this community are often well priced and can be purchased in the mid $500,000 range for a nice ocean view property. The location is really ideal with super easy freeway access and located next to the San Clemente movie theater and a huge shopping area. The San Clemente hospital is also located right down the street too.
The condos are split levels so they don't appeal to all buyers. Basically, once you enter your front door you are greeted with stairs that lead up or down. Upstairs features a living room, dining room and kitchen area with a nice outdoor patio deck area. Downstairs is where you will find all the bedrooms and small patio backyard. These are not large condos but offer enough space for a perfect starter or retirement home.
