Downtown San Clemente Condos

Downtown San Clemente condos are for those who want to live near the center of town and ocean side of the 5 freeway. The downtown area starts on the famous "Avenida Del Mar" street that is pictured below during a wonderful sunset. The area is best known for condos that are located near the San Clemente Pier going several blocks both south and north of the Pier. This is considered a walking area where you can easily walk to the beach and downtown area within minutes.
If you are looking for ocean front homes in this area you have a lot to choose from. Located just several blocks to the north is the ocean front street known as "Buena Vista." Condos with odd ending house numbers are those that are located on the bluff front and have incredible views of the ocean. There is a nice variety of condos and homes on the bluff which also tends to be one of the more expensive areas. Prices tend to be $1 to $2.5 million in this area.
For those looking for direct ocean views near the Pier we highly recommend the street known as "Avenida Granada" where you will find several condos buildings in a row like Villa Grande that direct views of the Pier and Ocean. There are also small little streets located around the Pier like "Arenoso Ln" and "Corto Ln" that also have great view condos and can be found in the mid $800,000 to $1,200,000 range.
If size is not an option then it is possible to find condos under the $500,000 price point in this area. Some of these condos may have a small view of the ocean and still provide walking distance to the downtown shopping area and the beach.
