Once you get to the last several streets the hillside levels out so homes will have limited amount of views. Some of the more popular ocean view streets are "Calle Lisa" which currently offers two ocean views homes listed at $4,295,000 and $4,790,000. Both of these homes span over 4,000 square feet with 4 and 5 bedroom floor plans. More affordable streets like "Calle Louisa" offer ocean view homes in the mid $3.5 million dollar range.
My favorite street is "Calle Marlena" which is one street back from the ocean front. It's elevated high enough to offer wonderful ocean views and tends to be the most expensive amongst all of the ocean view properties expect the ocean front. Homes rarely come on the market here with only one rental home available on this street at $7,500 a month. Homeowners association dues are very low and average $310 a month which includes the community community, spa, tennis, clubhouse and 24 hour guard attendants. There are also two neighboring neighborhoods that offer slightly lower price points and share the same gated entrance. For those looking for homes in the mid $1.5 to $3 million dollar range should consider the Breakers and Cyprus Cove neigborhoods.
